 The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council is asking fishermen and divers to help them collect information on red grouper.

A scientific stock assessment of red grouper is scheduled to being this September, and the Council would like to know if fishermen have noticed anything "fishy" about red grouper, or red grouper fishing, in recent years.

The information provided will help inform scientists and managers as they formulate a current understanding of the red grouper stock. 

The Council has created a red grouper questionnaire where you can provide information.
