Florida students won't return to the
classroom this school year.
Governor Ron DeSantis announced
Saturday that all Florida public and private K-12 schools will
continue distance learning and keep school campuses closed through
June 3rd, the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year.
Students will instead continue to take
part in distance learning through the rest of this academic year.
Franklin County School Superintendent
Tracy Yoder said she will continue to work
closely with the Department of
Education, the Governor’s Office and other agencies as much as
possible in serving the needs of all students for the remainder of
the school year.
