The Franklin County Humane Society could use your help

The Franklin County Humane Society could use your help.

This time of year, the animal shelter gets lots of puppies and kittens, and they need help caring for all of the animals.

Many of the young, homeless animals come to the shelter with a wide range of ailments that require medical intervention including internal and external parasites, respiratory illness, eye problems, ringworm, mange, and even broken bones.

Every puppy or kitten accepted at the shelter gets a full health evaluation, they are Spayed or neutered, and the shelter tries to adopt out every one of them.

Every monetary donation is greatly needed, and if you donate 250 dollars or more you either get a free t-shirt or a customized plaque in remembrance of a loved one or beloved pet to hang on their new “Rainbow Bridge Memorial” at the shelter.

Donating is easy.

You can drop off a check at the Franklin County Humane Society on Highway 65 in Eastpoint, or send your donation to Franklin County Humane Society, PO Box 417, Eastpoint, FL 32328

You can donate through the website at www.forgottenpets.org and use the PayPal link at the bottom of the home page or give at local donation jars located at merchants around Franklin County.
