The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners have cancelled the Burn Ban that was issued for Franklin County on October 7th, 2022.
Although this Burn Ban has been cancelled, we are recommending if you burn outside, please use precautionary measures.
Never leave a fire unattended, make sure all fires are fully extinguished when finished & monitor winds before burning.
This burn ban can be re-implemented at any time, especially if we start to have fires that become uncontrolled.
This does not change the Lanark Village Burn Ban that is still in place.
