You won’t have to pay Florida’s 6 percent sales tax on outdoor supplies or events during the month of July.
The Freedom Summer Sales Tax Holiday will take place from Monday, July 1st through Wednesday, July 31st on items ranging from fishing supplies, and outdoor recreation equipment to admissions to state parks and museums.
The Sales Tax Holiday also include items families use during the summer, including boating and water activity supplies, camping and fishing gear, sporting equipment and entertainment.
This year’s tax holiday also adds tax-free savings on eligible electric scooters.
There will also be no state sales tax on live music and sporting events between July 1st and December 31st, as well as movies, fairs and festivals.
Museums, including annual passes will be tax free as will state parks, including annual passes for them.
