Attorney General James Uthmeier was in Apalachicola on Thursday to announce the arrest of six individuals as part of Operation Summer Hurricane, a multi-agency undercover operation targeting online child predators in North Florida.
The three-night operation was conducted between July 10th through the 12th by numerous agencies across Northwest Florida, including the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.
6 people were arrested during the operation, including Colbey Adams, who was arrested by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office for promoting the performance of a sexual act by a child, solicitation of a minor, and harmful communication with a minor.
Jarvis Arteza Baker Jr. was arrested by FDLE on attempted human trafficking of a minor and traveling to meet a minor.
He was also charged by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for fleeing and eluding with property damage; reckless driving and dangerous excessive speeding.
William Jared Breski is a registered sexual offender – he was arrested twice – once by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on failure to register and providing false registration information.
He was also arrested by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office on promoting the performance of a sexual act by a child; solicitation of a minor; harmful communication with a minor and transmission of obscene material to a minor.
Joshua Heath Lolley was arrested by Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on traveling to meet a minor.
Christopher Edward Nabors was arrested by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on traveling to meet a minor and the transmission of material harmful to a minor.
Jose De Jesus Salazar Gomez was arrested by FDLE on traveling to meet a minor.
Gomez is an illegal alien with an active immigration detainer.
