Stars, Stripes & Summer in Gulf County - WHAT'S HAPPENING IN GULF NEWSLETTER

Stars, Stripes & Summer Nights

Small Town Traditions. Big Memories.

July in Gulf County is filled with the moments that become family traditions. Days spent on the water, evenings around a beach bonfire, hometown celebrations, and fireworks lighting up the night sky all come together to create memories you'll talk about long after summer ends.

Whether you're celebrating the Fourth in Port St. Joe or Wewahitchka, exploring local events, or simply soaking up another sunset, there's no better place to spend July than right here on Florida's Quiet Shores.

Good Vibes, Clean Beaches

On July 12th, help kick off the summer season by joining the 2nd Annual Summer Beach Cleanup along Indian Pass and Eglin Beach. Spend the morning giving back to the beaches you love, meet fellow coastal enthusiasts, and enjoy prizes, refreshments, and plenty of fresh air along the way.

A little time can make a big difference for our shores.

Accessible Adventures Await

Spend the day at William J. "Billy Joe" Rish Recreation Area on July 26th as National Disability Independence Day is celebrated with live music, games, demonstrations, and family-friendly fun. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Gulf County's most accessible parks while celebrating recreation, inclusion, and community.
