The American Red Cross 2010 Hurricane Survival Guide is now available in Franklin County.
The guide contains valuable information on planning for and surviving a hurricane, including evacuation routes, contact information for emergency management offices and hurricane storm surge maps. There are maps and contact information for area storm shelters as well as information on how to make a hurricane survival kit, and what to do to protect your home from strong winds and high water.
The guide is available at the local Emergency Management Office as well as at the Oyster Radio Studios at the Point Mall in Eastpoint.
