Patronis qualifies to seek re-election

Jimmy Patronis, who represents a portion of North Florida from Panama City to the Apalachicola River, has qualified to run for re-election. Patronis’ campaign announced Wednesday that it has collected the 957 verified signatures needed to place Mister Patronis on this year's ballot.

The signatures were collected throughout District 6.

Mister Patronis said he is extremely grateful for the support the residents of District 6 have shown him, not only during this election cycle, but throughout the course of his two terms as a State Representative in Bay, Gulf and Franklin Counties.

Representative Patronis was first elected to the Florida House in November 2006; since his election he has served as the Chair of the Health Care Regulation Policy Committee as well as the Full Appropriations Council on General Government & Health Care, the Health Care Appropriations Committee, the Agriculture & Natural Resources Policy Committee, Health & Family Services Policy Council, and Roads, Bridges, & Ports Policy Committee.

He also serves on the Florida Boating Advisory Council.
