The Florida Seafood Festival has its queen.
Franklin County High School junior Ciara Moore is this year’s Miss Florida Seafood.
She is the daughter of Clay and Michelle Moore of Eastpoint.
She was crowned on Saturday by last year’s queen Isabel Pateritsas after a pageant held at the Franklin County School.
Ciara was one of 6 girls competing for the title.
She also won the interview and poise and appearance sections of the pageant.
1st runner up this year was Tiffany Varnes who also won the physical fitness competition.
Sarah Sizemore was Miss Congeniality.
Also competing were Breanna Cook who won the talent portion of the pageant, as well as Katelyn Maxwell and Oneika Lockley.
Miss Moore will reign over this year’s Seafood Festival and participate in festival events such as the oyster eating contest & blessing of the fleet.
She will also be making numerous TV and parade appearances over the coming weeks to publicize the Seafood Festival which will be held November 5th and 6th in Apalachicola.
