The Franklin County Commission will meet tomorrow in Apalachicola.
The board has a few items of interest on the agenda.
It will receive an update on the construction of the Carrabelle Urgent Care Clinic and will also hold a discussion of military exercises taking place at the Franklin County airport near Apalachicola.
The County commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday to consider increases to courthouse facility fees and the board will hold a public hearing to consider a land swap with the City of Apalachicola.
Under the proposal the county would swap four half-lots it owns in the city in exchange for a city-owned portion of Washington Square where Weems Memorial Hospital is located.
County commission meetings are open to the public – tomorrow’s meeting begins at 9 at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex in Apalachicola.
