Visit Leon Sinks for free this weekend

People can visit the Leon Sinks Geological Area in the Apalachicola National forest for free this weekend in honor of kids going back to school.
Leon Sinks is one of the few sites in the state that are waiving fees this weekend as part of an effort to get people outdoors.
The area has numerous hiking trails and springs – the cost is generally 3 dollars per person to get in.
There are also some sites in the Ocala and Osceola National Forests that are waiving fees this weekend - you can find a list of sites on the news page at oyster radio.com.
This is the second weekend this year that the US Forests Service has waived fees at certain parks.
They also intend to do so on National Public Lands Day which is Sept 25th and on Veterans' Day which is November the 11th.
