Franklin County Commissioners Tuesday held a public hearing where they approved the list of capital improvements they expect to get done over the next 5 years.
The 13 projects proposed for the next 5 years include multi-use paths in Carrabelle, Alligator Point, Eastpoint and St. George Island as well as continued work on the boat ramp on Ochlocknee bay.
The county is also planning work on Alligator Point Road, Highway 67 and Brownsville Road.
The county also hopes to get funding to buy property on St. George Island for use as a public park.
The projects on the capital improvements list have all either been funded already or the county is seeking grant funding to pay for them.
