Red Cross to offer babysitter course in Tallahassee


The Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross its popular Babysitter’s Training Course in Tallahassee next week.
The class is for youth 11 years and older who would like to learn the skills needed to care for children and infants.
Students will learn how to supervise children and infants, how to perform basic child care skills such as diapering and feeding, how to choose safe, age-appropriate games and toys, as well as basic first aid skills.
The 2 day class costs $100 fee to attend, but for that you get the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Handbook and CD-ROM, Emergency Reference Guide, and Certification in Adult, Infant and Child CPR.
The class will be held at the new Chapter headquarters at 1115 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee on December 28 and 29 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
