Time running out to apply for pre-pay college program

There are just a few days left to sign up for the Florida pre-paid college program and still get the 2010 prices.

The plan lets you pre-pay for your child’s college education.

The various plans can cover the costs of tuition, local fee and dormitory housing plans, at Florida’s 11 public universities and 28 state colleges.

The plan’s value is also transferable to most accredited private and out-of-state colleges.

A prepaid college savings plan can be purchased for children and grandchildren as soon as they are born and up until the 11th grade.
Families can visit www.myfloridaprepaid.com or call 1-800-552-GRAD (4723) to order an Enrollment Kit in English or Spanish and speak to a customer service representative.

Applications must be submitted or postmarked by the end of the day on January the 31st to receive current 2008 plan prices.
