More turtles rescued from St. Joe Bay

A few more sea turtles were rescued from the St. Joe Bay over the weekend after freezing temperatures hit the state again.
Gulf World Marine Park on Panama City Beach said 1 turtle was rescued on Saturday and another 10 were pulled from the bay on Sunday.
Sea turtles can tolerate water temperatures down to about 50 degrees, but when it drops below that, they become stunned.
The turtles rescue this weekend will now be treated at the Marine Park and then re-released into the Gulf of Mexico.
The park just released 242 green sea turtles last week which had been rescued during a cold snap earlier this month.
