The AARP will begin its free income-tax filing assistance next week in Franklin and Wakulla Counties.
Beginning February 1st, the group will send tax preparers to help residents with tax issues of all kinds.They will also be capable of filing your tax forms electronically.
The tax preparers are certified by the AARP and the IRS, and are up to date on all tax credits and other changes in the law.
The free tax service will be offered at the Carrabelle Branch of the Franklin County Public Library on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
The service will be offered at the Wakulla County Library on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays at the Wakulla Senior Center from 1 to 4 p.m.
The service will continue through April 16.
