Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Election to hold field application days this month

The Property Appraisers Office and the Supervisor of Elections Office will hold their annual field application days this month to help residents with issues about homestead exemptions and voter registration.
Representatives from the two offices will go out into the community on February 14th, 15th and 18th to help people with any changes they may have in their exemption and/or voters status.
Homeowners who have turned 65 should check their homestead exemption, because in Florida many on fixed incomes are eligible to double their exemption from 25 thousand to 50 thousand dollars.
On February 14th the Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections will be at Chillas Hall in Lanark Village, on the 15th they’ll be at the Eastpoint Post Office, and on the 18th they’ll be at the Fire Station in Alligator Point.
