The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is looking for Adventurous and outdoorsy women for an upcoming Becoming an Outdoors-Woman mini workshop that will beheld in Panama City in October.
The single-day workshop takes place October 15th at Gulf Coast State College.
The workshop teaches skills associated with hunting, fishing and other forms of outdoor recreation, at all levels of physical activity.
Participants will be able to choose two sessions which can include basic archery skills; introduction to panfishing; kayaking basics; introduction to reading the woods; introduction to shotgun shooting and hunting; basic wilderness survival; and introduction to handgun shooting and hunting
The cost for the program is $50, and there are a few discounted slots available for low-income participants, single parents and college students.
The workshop is restricted to 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis – so you should register as soon as possible.
