Two people were killed in a single car accident in Gulf County on
Tuesday.
23 year old Canda Joy Borden of Port St. Joe and 23
year old Adam Kennedy of Panama City both died when their Suzuki Forenza went
off the road on State Road 30 A at Heron Bay Lane.
The highway patrol said the two were driving west
on 30A just after midnight Tuesday
when they failed to negotiate a curve.
The car left the roadway and Miss Borden tried to
drive back onto the roadway.
She overcorrected and the car went into a spin before
hitting a tree with the driver’s side and turning over.
Neither of the victims was wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
