County
commissioners have approved a slight restructuring at the Franklin County
For
the past few weeks the commission has been considering whether to hire a
assistant supervisor at the landfill, but on Tuesday the board agreed to move
Albert Floyd into the assistant’s job.
Mister
Floyd is already in charge of animal control and will continue to do that work
as well.
He
will get a 2000 dollar a year raise for his additional responsibilities.
The
board also agreed to move Carrie Shiver into the landfill manager job and to
name Link Carrol the administrative assistant.
They
will each get a 1500 dollar increase in pay.
The
landfill was also giver approval to hire a new entry-level employee.
If
you are looking for work, the entry level position will pay 25,500 dollars.
