The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is
investigating the suspected murder of a 68 year old Apalachicola woman.
The
victim has been identified as Cynthia A. Green who lived on 9th street Apalachicola until her home burned
down in early November.
She
was a nurse at the Franklin Correctional Institution and a member of St.
Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Her
body was found around 1 PM on Wednesday about 10 miles west of Apalachicola
just off State Road 30-A.
The
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the investigation with the
assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
In
a press release they said foul play is suspected.
