The National Institute of Health, Healthy Gulf, Healthy Communities Study and the University of Florida Oyster Recovery Team along with their community partners will hold an information sharing meeting on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Apalachicola Community Center (in Battery Park). The meeting is open to the public.
Representatives from the projects will share information about completed and upcoming activities, discuss research results and talk about opportunities for cooperation. There will be an update on the Ad Hoc Committees progress on the SMARRT (Seafood Management Assistance Resource & Recovery Team) initiative. Public input is encouraged, and there will be time for questions and comments from the audience. Light refreshments will be served.
