St. George lighthouse donating today's climbing revenue to Franklin County Food Pantry

If you climb the Cape St. George Lighthouse today, you will help feed the hungry in Franklin County.

The St. George Lighthouse Association is donating all of the revenue it makes today to the Franklin County Food Pantry.

That includes daytime climbing revenues and the revenue from tonight’s Full Moon Climb.

The lighthouse will be open for climbing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for regular climbing and from 5 to 7 for the full moon climb.

The cost for daytime climbing is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids 16 and younger.

There is no charge for St. George Lighthouse Association members and active members of the U.S. military with a current ID.

The cost for the Sunset / Full Moon Climb is $15.00 for the general public and $10.00 for SGLA members.
