You won’t need a license to go saltwater fishing on Sunday

Sunday, September the 1^st will be a saltwater license-free fishing day in Florida allowing residents and visitors to experience Florida’s unique saltwater fishing opportunities first hand without being required to have a recreational saltwater fishing license. 

Sunday will be the last scheduled license free fishing day of 2013 but the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will consider adding four additional license-free fishing days to the calendar at their Sept. 5^th meeting in Pensacola.

If approved, there will be two more saltwater and two more freshwater license-free fishing days before the end of 2013.
