BBB® serving Northwest Florida adds Consumer Reviews to Business Reviews

Pensacola, Fla. (Jan. 9, 2014)- The Better Business Bureau serving Northwest Florida is now accepting both positive and negative customer reviews to its web site,nwfl.bbb.org, in an effort to improve its services to the community.
“Consumers wanted another opportunity to be able to express their opinions about businesses that they interact with, and consumers who don’t have experience with a particular business will be able to go online and read the business review that will contain consumer reviews,” said Norman Wright, the president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Northwest Florida.
Customers who wish to post reviews may visit the company’s BBB Business Review at nwfl.bbb.org and click on “Submit a Customer Review.” The submission form includes step-by-step instructions in creating the review. The customer review includes the written review of the business, a rating of the overall experience with the business, and asks the reviewer if he or she would recommend the business.
When a review is submitted, it is vetted by the BBB before it is posted online and the BBB notifies the business via email. The business is allowed ten calendar days to respond to the review before it is posted online. If a business does not respond within the allotted timeframe, the review gets posted. Business owners can also submit a rebuttal to be posted online.
The positive and negative reviews will not be used in the calculation of the BBB rating for a business.
