The
Apalachicola Police Department is asking for the public's help in
finding out who vandalized a vehicle in the city on Friday night.
A white 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser
belonging to Jim Bachrach was spray painted with black paint while it was
parked at his home at 115
Bay Avenue
The incident occurred after 8:30PM Friday night and before 8:00AM Saturday morning.
According to Apalachicola Mayor
Van Johnson, officers are working on the theory that the incident was targeted
and related to the recent removal of the cedar tree at Riverfront Park Apalachicola .
Anyone with information that will
help lead authorities make an arrest, should contact Lt. Pam Lewis with the
Apalachicola Police Department at 370-6055.
