A Bristol man was
critically injured in an early morning accident on Highway 65 on Sunday.
40 year old Horace Harris
received critical injuries after driving off the roadway and hitting some trees
just North of Teresa Road.
The Highway patrol said Mister
Harris was heading north on Highway 65 just after midnight
Sunday when he drove off the shoulder of the road.
He managed to turn right back on
the roadway but then overcorrected back to the left before driving head on into
the tree line.
Mister Harris actually managed to
back the car up and drive south for 32 feet before coming to a stop.
He was not wearing his seat belt;
officers are investigating whether the accident was alcohol related.
