Franklin
county commissioners last week cut the number of members on its Airport Advisory
Committee.
Last week the county commission
agreed to trim the membership of the committee from 9 members to 7.
The board took the action to make
it easier for the committee to have a quorum.
County coordinator Michael Moron
said that two of the members haven’t made a meeting in years – one not since
2011.
The Airport Advisory committee
helps the county oversee activities at the Airport in Apalachicola; it provides
recommendations and advice on contracts and work programs at the airport.
