Jerry Barnes has been named to the
Gulf County Commission.
Mister Barnes is 71
years old; he was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of
Warren Yeager who stepped down in July to serve as the Restore
Act Coordinator for Gulf County.
Governor Rick Scott’s office made the announcement on Friday.
Jerry Barnes has
plenty of experience.
He previously
served on the Gulf County Commission from 2000 to 2008 and as a commissioner
for the City of Port Saint Joe from 1998 to 2000.
His term will end
in January of 2017.
