Sea Tow provides loaner life jacket stand to Port St. Joe Yacht Club

            If you forget your life jacket the next time you go boating you can borrow one from the loaner stand in Port St. Joe.

The Sea Tow Foundation recently established 31 new life jacket loaner stands around the country, including one at the Port St. Joe Yacht Club in Port St. Joe.

The loaner stands let boaters who need a life jacket borrow one or more free of charge for the day to help keep themselves and their passengers safer on the water.

The new stands and life jackets were purchased with a grant from the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund administered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
 

The loaner stands and life jackets should be available before the beginning of the summer boating season.
