Celebrate the 80th anniversary of Florida's State Forests with a paddle down the New River

October is State Forest Awareness month and this is our 80th anniversary!
Come out and explore Florida State Forest recreation where space, solitude and self-reliance are yours to discover across one-million acres of diverse ecosystems.
Spend the night or spend the day, come see what your forests have to offer!
Tate’s Hell State Forest  will be celebrating  October 22 at the Gully Branch Recreation Area.
Come join us for a paddle down the New River. Bring you canoe or kayak or use one of ours.
There’s a limited number of (no-cost) reservable kayaks available , call and make your reservation as soon as possible.
Participants must be 12 years or older and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
