Franklin County's Veterans' Service office closed this week

Franklin County’s Veteran Service Office will be closed this week so the Veterans Service Officer can go to training.

The veterans Service office helps veterans and their dependents dealing with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

They provide everything from general information to claims preparation and development.

The office will be closed from October 3^rd through the 7^th.

Veterans Service Officer Charles Elliot will be accessible by e-mail at veteransservice@franklincountyflorida.com.

Veterans can also call the VA with emergencies at 1-800-827-1000.
