Justice heads to Nationals to shuck 'em up

Last year's Florida Seafood Festival oyster shucking champion is heading to the National competition this weekend.

Honor Allen of Panama City was last year's champion after he shucked 2 dozen oysters in 2 minutes and 41 seconds.

The 22 year old shucks for a living at Hunt's Oyster Bar in St. Andrews.

Honor won an all expense paid trip to the 50^th annual national oyster shucking competition which will be held this weekend in St. Mary's County, Maryland.

And if he wins in Maryland, he will represent the US in the international shucking contest in Galway, Ireland in 2017.

And remember, the next local oyster shucking contest is coming up in Apalachicola in just a few weeks.

The 53 annual Florida Seafood Festival is coming up November 4^th and 5^th at Battery Park in Apalachicola.
