Suffered damage from Hermine? Call FEMA direct.

If you are a property owner in Franklin or Wakulla Counties and suffered damage because of Hurricane Hermine, you should report your damage directly to Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Franklin and Wakulla Counties were not approved for individual assistance, though many other counties were.

FEMA,However, is accepting claims.

That does not guarantee Individual Assistance will be given, but it does allow FEMA to record the demographics and needs of the citizens of Franklin and Wakulla Counties.

If the number is great enough it may allow the counties to be added on the current Declaration for Individual Assistance.

If you had damage, call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362 and make your claim.

You can also go online and fill out an application online at https://www.disasterassistance.gov
