The
recreational Harvest of Gray Triggerfish in Federal Waters of the
Gulf of Mexico Will Close on Friday.
The
closure is required because the 2017 recreational quota of 217
thousand pounds is expected to be reached this week.
The
recreational harvest will close in federal waters at 12:01 am
on August the 17th and will remain closed through the end of the
year.
The
closure is necessary to protect gray triggerfish from overfishing.
