Amazing Boat Poker Run will be held in Carrabelle on Saturday

The Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend will host a big event in Carrabelle this weekend.

The family-friendly event is called the Amazing Boat Poker Run and it will be held out of the Carrabelle Bistro & Marina on Timber Island.

It will include live music, food, drinks, and all proceeds will benefit the Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend services.

Boat poker run participants will check in at the Carrabelle Bistro & Marina, where they will board their boats and head to Dog Island to compete in five challenges.

At each challenge and checkpoint, participants will receive a poker card.

Once they have received all five poker cards, they will return to the starting point to enter their hand.

The winning hand that matches a pre-selected combination will win a boat from Jacks Boat & Trailers in Perry and a Nissan Titan Truck from Kraft Nissan.

You can also register Saturday morning starting at 730 at the Carrabelle Bistro & Marina on Timber Island.

You must be 18 or older to enter, and entrants are responsible for bringing a boat to participate.

The Epilepsy Association of the Big Bend is a non-profit agency that provides medical and social work services to those who have seizure disorders and epilepsy.
