The Franklin County Humane Society is looking for donations of dog food to help in their community pet food drive

The Franklin County Humane Society is looking for donations of dog food to help in their community pet food drive.

The Humane Society is providing dog and cat food to people who may not be able to afford feeding their pets during the COVID-19 quarantine.

Their concern is that people facing financial struggles may not be able to afford to feed their pets and instead choose to surrender them which would overwhelm the shelter.

The program has plenty of cat food at this time, but dog food is running low.

If you would like to donate food, you may order on line and have it sent to: 244 State Rd 65, Eastpoint Florida 32328 or drop it by the shelter at your convenience.

If you would like more information you can call 670-8417.
