The Franklin County 4-H program is ready to start its shooting sports club for Franklin County kids.
There are currently two adult volunteers who have completed their 4-H certification to teach kids the principals of responsible shooting.
The first shooting sport to be offered is archery.
The 4-H program was able to purchase enough equipment for eight 4-H youth with donations from local citizens.
The shooting sports club will be meeting for the first time on Saturday April 17th at 2 PM in Carrabelle and encourage youth from the community to come.
If you have a child who would like to attend, call Michelle Gray at 850-210-3277 to pre-register so numbers can be managed according to 4-H Covid protocol.
