If you are having a hard time making ends meet because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a program that might help you save some money on your internet.

Mediacom Communications is taking part in the federal government’s Emergency Broadband Benefit Program designed to help families and individuals struggling to afford Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is a temporary program that provides eligible new or current customers with up to $50 off their monthly internet service bill.

If you would like to see if you are eligible for the program you can go on-line to fcc.gov/broadbandbenefit.

Enrollment for Emergency Broadband Benefit Program begins this week.

If you are interested in the benefit must pre-qualify for the program through the National Verifier.

After customers are verified, they can opt into the program by choosing Mediacom as the participating internet service provider.

The monthly credit of up to $50, applies only to broadband services.
