If you have a teenager in the family who has an interest in the library, there is a new way for them to help out.
The Franklin County Public Library has started a Teen Advisory Board.
Teens who join the board have the opportunity to suggest materials for the library’s collection, plan programs and events for teens and earn community service hours.
The first meeting of the Teen Advisory Board will be held August 10th so your kids still have a chance to sign up.
Applications can be picked up at the public libraries in Eastpoint or in Carrabelle.
