Early voting begins Saturday for the upcoming primary election.
There are two county commission races this year for districts 2 and 4.
Those seats are currently held by Bert Boldt and Smokey Parrish.
Both men are seeking re-election – Boldt is facing two opponents, Cheryl Sanders and Christopher Crosby.
Parrish is facing Ottice Amison.
There are also some statewide primary races on the ballot including US Senate, Governor, Attorney General and Commissioner of Agriculture.
The primary election will be held on August 23rd; early voting begins August 13th.
Early voting will be held daily from August 13th through August 20th from 8 AM till 5 PM at the Supervisor of Elections Office in Apalachicola and at the Courthouse annex at 912 Northwest Avenue A in Carrabelle.
