President’s Message: July was another great month for the Chamber! We had eight (8) new members join! Please welcome Apalachee Bay Marine Services DBA Sea Tow Big Bend, Cleaning Ovations LLC, Gypsy Rose Beach Boutique, Labig’s Hardwood Flooring, NAI TALCOR, Oyster Radio, St. Joe Natural Gas Co. and Wakulla Storage! That brings our total new members in 2022 to 52! We took July off for our networking luncheons but we will resume in August. Our next one will be on August 24th, 2022, and it will be held at The Wakulla Springs Lodge and catered by the same. More here  Chamber and Community Events LEAP (Learn, Earn & Advance Program) for Youth and Young Adults Announced by CareerSource Capital Region   Edge of the Sea workshops take place at the FSU Coastal & Marine Laboratory in St. Teresa, FL. They start at 5:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM (unless otherwise indicated), taking full advantage of daylight savings time.  The cost is $15 per person. Class size is limited to 12 people. The minimum age is 7 years old. No upper limit at all! We do ask that all 7-13 year olds are accompanied by a paying adult.   What to bring: old sneakers or other close-toed/heel shoes. No sandals. Bug Spray. DATES: 8/6; 8/20; 9/10; 9/24   Deadline to register is the day before by 5 pm. FRESH Back to School Event - Free Backpack Give-away  8/6 Notice of Public Meeting: The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a Workshop on August 15, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at the Commission Chambers, 29 Arran Rd., Crawfordville, FL, regarding the FY2022/2023 Budget Development. Classes are free to our members and employees (other classes not listed here may be available with a co-pay).
