Governor names two to Port St. Joe Port Authority
Governor Charlie Crist has reappointed one member and appointed a new member to the Port St. Joe Port Authority. The governor’s office announced that Patrick E. Jones of Port St. Joe will continue serving on the Port Authority through July 27th, 2013. Jones is a broker with North Florida Land and Capital. Carl Raffield of Port St. Joe, owner and vice president of Raffield Fisheries was newly appointed to the board to replace David Langston for a term that ends July 20th, 2013.The Port Authority of Port St. Joe is working to re-establish Port St. Joe as an active seaport. Port St. Joe has one of Florida’s 14 deep water seaports which the port authority hopes to make it one of the driving forces of Gulf County’s economy in the future.
