Liberty County man injured in one car accident

A liberty county man was critically injured in a one car accident Wednesday night. 20 year old James Oren Shuler was headed north on County road 379 just before 11 o’clock Wednesday when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road. He tried to bring steer back on to the roadway but his truck went into a spin before hitting one tree and then spinning into several others. Shuler’s truck then overturned and Mister Shuler was thrown from the vehicle. He was airlifted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for treatment. Mister Shuler was not wearing a seat belt; police are investigating whether the accident was alcohol related.
