Fourth of July closures

Saturday, of course, is the fourth of July but many government offices will be closing a day early for the holidays. County and state offices will be closed all day tomorrow in honor of Independence Day. That includes all of the offices at the Franklin County courthouse and the central landfill on Highway 65. The Franklin County health Department locations in Apalachicola and Carrabelle will also be closed tomorrow. Post offices will be open on Friday, but they will be closed on Saturday – Local banks will also be open Friday but will be closed Saturday.
