Brenda Ash wins City Commission seat

The City of Apalachicola has a new city commissioner. Brenda Ash won the race for city commission seat number four on Tuesday, defeating incumbent Valentina Webb. Mrs. Ash took nearly 66 percent of the vote, winning the race 471 votes to 247. Voter turnout was 41 percent.
