Carrabelle commission swears in new member today

The Carrabelle city commission will swear in a new member today and welcome a returning commissioner. Cal Allen, who was elected to the Carrabelle City Commission on September the 8th, will take his oath of office today as will returning commissioner Richard Sands. Mister Allen’s first order of business will be to consider the city’s budget – today’s meeting is the City’s first public budget hearing. The swearing in ceremony will take place at 5:30 this afternoon; the budget hearing will begin at 6. The Carrabelle City Commission meets at the Carrabelle City Complex which used to be Carrabelle High School.
