County floods after heavy rains on Monday

A very rainy day in Franklin County. Estimates are that 6 to 8 inches of rain fell in some portions of the county today and more is expected overnight. Here are just a few of the pictures I got of the flooding in Eastpoint before it got too dark. For those of you reading this in Franklin County, sand bags are available if you need them from the Fire house in Eastpoint and from the county work camp on Bluff Road in Apalachicola. They should be available throughout the night.
