Joyce Estes named to Northwest Florida Water Management District

Governor Charlie Crist last week re-appointed Joyce Estes to the Northwest Florida Water Management District. Mrs. Estes is from Eastpoint she owns the Sea Oats Gallery. She has served previously on the District Board and was vice-chairman for a time before she left the board about two years ago. Mrs. Estes will now fill the at large position, replacing Jerome Pate of Pensacola who will remain on the board in the Escambia County Seat. Terms for both members began on September the 10th and will end again in March of 2013. The Northwest Florida Water Management District is a 9 member board which oversees water issues across North Florida from the St. Marks River Basin in Jefferson County to the Perdido River in Escambia County.
